Still working on MySpace????

I am still battling with MySpace..... can anyone help???? ( ...

Anyway...... here is another  one of Rainer's paintings.  This one is called "The Pollenator", and is available at PICTURE THIS GALLERY, Shop 300 - Pacific Fair, Gold Coast.

This was created in a fit of "hay-feverishness"...........

Well, not much to report today -  Our "Live-In-Gallery" is almost complete.   I just love it.  It is so good to be surrounded by our own creations.

For those of you who do not know - unfortunately the little Main Beach Gallery has closed.  Sadly the lease was up for renewal, and, well, it was not renewed.......

Rainer and I have been furiously rearranging our house to accommodate all of our artworks from there, and finally- I think we are there..........

I will see if I can find a photo to show you.....

To those of you who have contacted us recently - THANK YOU - we just love to hear from you, so please, keep the e-mails rolling......

  Thank You

Till next time -  Cheers, CAROL & RAINER xxx

Today I am exhausted...... but it is the exhaustion of happiness :)

Rainer and I have spent the whole afternoon redecorating our lounge with our artworks - and I am very happy.  We have decided for now to turn our house into a "live-in Gallery".    It just feels right to be surrounded by our art.  After all they were  created from our heart and soul, so  that  artistic contentment permeats into our home (well, I think so anyway).

This picture is of my favourite from my Twirly Angel Series - "Seaside Angel".  She is in my office helping me at the moment.

Sadly today was our last day in the Main Beach Gallery.  But as they say, one door must close in order for another to open........... sooooooooooo - we are going to regroup amongst the two of us and plan our next move.

In the meantime - you can still see Rainer's fabulous artworks at PICTURE THIS GALLERY, Shop 300 - Pacific Fair, Broadbeach, Queensland (Australia).

At the moment I am struggling with MySpace.  I thought I'd put a few of our artworks on public show through this - but I am so low-tech!!!  Do bear with me on this one, I'm sure I will get the hang of it.

(Our address will be: ).

I have also tried to put us onto RedBubble (

I will persevere with these two sites and will let you know how I go................

Talk again soon - CAROL xxx

Today Rainer is happy - he sold his "Water Cathedral" painting.  Mind you, it is a great piece.   To the lovely family that bought it "HI!!"   We hope you will love it as much as we did.

Rainer is also happy today because he heard from one of his old clients from 1990 (in Scotland).  To this lovely gentleman - Hello, we will be in touch soon.  Good to hear that you still have his works.  Hang on to them, as they will become an investment for your future.   Rainer's book is nearing completion, and your paintings will be very prominent in it.

I'll see if I can find an early photo of one of these works.....

Yep - found it..... This one is called "Friends" and it features the 'Four Ghorks" on the back of "Otto-Omnibus" - a gentle giant, whose job is to transport these four "birdlings" over the 'Sea of Trickery and Illusion', onto safety.

Till next time -

cheers - CAROL xxx

I just have to show this one to you.....

This is my "Mer-Queen" in her Water Cathedral with the Faerie-Child that she has kidnapped (what a cow!!).  I have slightly enhanced it with my new-found skills in "Photo-Shop" - but the background is a fabulous painting Rainer has done for me - (Water Cathedral) - I have put it onto his page, so have a look at it.

Before I go on too much about ME here, I had better let you all know that Rainer's story, "Journey of the Ghorks", is coming along.  It has been a few years in the making, but as they say, nothing good ever came from rushing anything........ so with this in mind, please do bear with him on this.  His artworks are exquisite, and will be used in his up-coming book.

Those of you who have purchased some of his paintings, please - do not give up.  We are both working hard at our writings, and the end is truly in sight now.

Till next time -

I have finished another doll for my illustrations - the Mer-Queen.  (She is the 'baddie' in my story).

Have a look at her.

Later on we will be taking some better photos for the actual illustrations, but this one will give you a bit of an idea of her.........When I say 'we' I mean Andrew :)

I have also finished my knitted coat (called it:  'Crystal-Onyx')  - Check it out -  it is on my 'art-to-wear' page......  And now I have started another one -  I know we are going into Spring/Summer here on the Gold Coast, but somewhere in the world it must be cold????

Talk again soon
