I am p…ed off!!! For weeks now Rainer has been working day and night creating fabulous paintings for his mini “artist-in-residence” exhibition, due to start tomorrow…... BUT!!!! – two days ago he came down with a very bad flu, so bad that he cannot move out of bed, complete with high temperature, and the inevitable GRUMPY OLD MAN syndrome that follows!!!

Today I had to phone the gallery and postpone his showing. This is bad!! This is very, very bad!!!

Last week I too had the same flu, and had to phone my daughter-in-law to cancel her visit to me – which meant I could not see my brand new grand-daughter this week, and probably next week as well. This is also bad!! This is very, very bad!!!

So to all of you wonderful friends out there, please bear with us, we will bounce back, but it may take a few more days until I can be fully back here onboard.

Better go – the “patient” is stirring, will make him a cup of peppermint tea and another asprin…...

Rainer will be doing a mini "ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE" exhibition at PICTURE THIS GALLERY, (Shop 300, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia) on Friday 27th/Saturday 28th February - & hopefully Sunday 1st March - between 11 am and 4pm........... please come and see him. 

I will be there too, but I will be flitting away - so many shops, so little time

Not sure where this year is heading - but it is racing fast towards something!!!  Hasn't stopped for me at all.

He has called it "SKYBOAT RETURNING HOME" - it is the final illustration for my 2nd Book in my Woodland Warriors series - Tales Upon an Ocean Shore.

I really love this one, and will find it extremely hard to part with - not sure I will  actually let him sell it yet!
