I Hate Volcanoes!!!  Yes I do!! ............... I have booked and been cancelled  re-booked and  re-cancelled THREE TIMES so far!!!   All I want is to fly to N.Z. - but no, the Gods of Fire and Turbulence had other ideas......... and now it looks like the damn volcano is restless again.  I am hoping to fly out on Thursday (23rd) - so do keep everything crossed for me please.

There is no stopping him this week......... here is yet another masterpiece.  This is the first in Rainer's new series of artworks - the "ZAUBER DER NATUR' series (Magic of Nature)..... the title of this piece is 'AURORA'.

Aurora's are a gentle light-play over the northern and/or the southern poles of our planet.  We have been so lucky in our past to have had the privelege to have witnessed this magnificent display of Mother Nature.  This was such a humbling experience for us, as a family, to have seen. 

 I can still remember the night, back in Queenstown, on our front balcony watching this.  We had all the boys rugged up in sleeping bags and warm blankets late one night in the middle of winter.  There was snow on the mountains and the air was clean, clear and crisp.  Mother Nature was at her best that evening.............
