Just to let you all know - we are still alive and kicking.

The Village has been a little quiet lately, but 'things' are on the up......... truly they are!!!  Do bear with us here - it will take a little while to get the place rocking, but in the long run, the Village will certainly be THE place to be!!!

Did any of you get to see the Doggie Fashion Show today at the Village???  How cool was that, eh?   dogs with ear-rings, dogs with hair-dye, and dogs with painted toe-nails............where else, but on the Gold Coast!!!

I am still knitting away at my Story-Bags......... actually, I am working on a new one at the moment, not sure what it will turn into, but it will be cream, beige, brown, etc.......... a truly earth-angel feel..... well, there you are - the name already - EARTH ANGEL!!!   now to work on the story...........

Rainer is happy tonight also - he has sold another painting......... I know it was only a miniature, but any sale to an artist is worth a celebration, is it not???!!  (Love you Sheridan xxx)...  Chardonnay tonight in this household :)

Time to knock off for the night....... have a wonderful dvd to watch (thanks Adrian & Manuel xxx).......... Loreena McKennitt live in the Alhambra...........  

How good is that!!!............ another weekend of sunshine............. the Gods must truly be pleased with us all?

I am working away on a couple of new projects.......... will put photo up soon.......

How wonderful - two whole days of sunshine! 

Heaps of people about today - lots of optimism with the sunshine.  It can only get better from hereon.

How can it rain for so long??????  I tell you, every weekend since November it has rained, and rained and rained!!!  It is so hard to be optimistic through all this.......

We did have a brief interlude of what I would call "Scattered Sunshine", but truly, for the most part it has been abysmal. 

We did have a few brave and wonderful souls venturing out, and to these lovely people I say HELLO, and thank you for visiting.  Please do call back, hopefully we willl be able to turn on the sunshine very soon for you all?

I am still knitting away on a few bits and pieces, and Rainer has a few projects up his sleeve, so we are always busy - so keep watching us for updates.

THE FIRE WITHIN......

"One of the most awesome powers found on this restless planet of ours is the power of the Volcano.  In this painting, I have allowed myself to look inside "Fire Mountain", to watch this furnace of uncontrolable forces reaching to the surface.

Imagine cutting a window into the side of an active Volcano to observe its inner workings!  

As an Artist you can do just that!
