Rainer was commissioned recently to create a Seascape for the front foyer of our appartment building.

It was very hard for him NOT to put any of his wonderful creatures into it, but that is what the committee wanted........

Here is a sneek peak - not sure if there will be tourist buses coming through to see it yet, but you never know (lol).

Time does not stand still - not for no man................. (or woman).

Anyway - 'we' -  (that is Him and Me) -  are still surviving, and are almost back to normal after having to shift house for the 3rd time in 18 months!!! (but that is another story for another time.......... just know that we are absolutely delighted with our new home and do not ever, ever, ever want to move away from here......).

Rainer is slowly getting back into his "I need to paint" mode, so it will not be long before there will be some new masterpieces for you all to gaze upon.

In the meantime - do know that our creative flow is still "flowing" in our fabulous little Bohemian Cafe ... Coffee@Saffron's............ Here you will find the most exquisite home-made creations - Spicy Pumpkin Soup, Vegetable Croquettes with fruit chutney....................... and get this.............. GUINNESS chocolate cake (made with real Irish Guinness!!!) - one simply must try this to savour the delight of it......... there truly are no words to describe the decadance of this masterpiece..........Sorry, I do go on..........

Is it just me or is time taking wings?????

I swear, time did not race at this pace when I was younger - It truly is "The Quickening!"

Anyway - fast, slow or normal - April is once more upon us - that means we are slowly heading towards AUTUMN on the Gold Coast.  Not sure about you all, but to me this is the best time of the year.  No more storms, humidity, sticky heat or power cuts................... how good is that!!???

If you have all survived the fierceness of our Summer, complete with cyclones, storms, endless rains etc, etc, and are desperate for some peace - then please do call into our funny little Tea-House in the Village Square.....
