"Castle Beaconstone" -

This work was created entirely as an Illustration painting for Carol's forthcoming Fantasy story (Book 3 - "The Winter Witches" -  from her Woodland Warriors series).

In the realm of the "Little Folk of the Forest" , Castle Beaconstone was known as sacred - it's life-bringing Beacon-Crystal was the God-like, holy light amongst the Golden Towers.

No creature has ever attempted to get close to this most powerful fortress of light -

Until................... (only Carol can tell you more, and I do not think she shall just yet!!!).

A word from Rainer.......

It is time for me to share with you two of my most ancient possessions, joining forces in my latest creation.

A very old "Conch" seashell, mounted on top of a metal stand, presents the perfect dwelling for a beautiful Apophyllite Crystal of pyramidial structure.

I have named this powerful combination  "The Crystal House".

Size: 470 mm x 210 mm

OTTO & SOPHIA SCHNEEHASE.................

A long time ago, Otto and Sophia Schneehase belonged to a Village of Field Rabbits, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the fruits of the Earth.  But then the "Forever Winter" forced them to move underground for warmth, taking with them all that was dear to them.

Life was not easy living underneath the ice and snow - But their love kept them warm.

DAS HOLZ BILD - (the Wooden Painting).

Gotta share this......

Rainer has finished this magnificent artwork, and I must say it is just fabulous.  It is so good to see him getting back into his old style - using aged wood and found objects/vintage pieces.   (This is how it all started - many, many moons ago.......)

Here is the story that accompanies this artwork - as written by Rainer...........

"One morning I was greeted by a Slab of Timber in our Driveway.   No idea what this was all about, but when I bent down to remove this obstacle, it struck me as being rather unusual!!!

First of all, it was incredibly heavy - but it also gave me the impression of a sheer face of a Cliff or a Mountain, riddled with Caves.

I simply had to enhance this splendid work of nature with my own Magick...........'

Size: 500 x 220 x 50 mm

Weight: 5 Kg

Price: $450.00 (Aust)

Rainer's "Organized Chaos"................... a muddle of his bits and pieces collected over time for his STEAM PUNK and ASSEMBLAGE ART pieces.

This photo shows some of his TIME-LORD rings - a selection of silver rings enhanced with the inside workings of old clocks and watches (no digital here!!!).

Well we made it - here we are now one day into 2013.............. I hope everyone survived all the festivities unscathed, and that your New Year will bring only happiness for you all.

He and Me (collectively known as Kozik Art), had a quiet night together.  It was lovely - we watched the Rolling Stones in concert (on t.v.), and then celebrated the New Year with a glass of cheap chardonnay as we watched the fireworks from our balcony.

With the New Year we hope to bring new artworks to you, we are both feeling empowered and are now ready to take on whatever this year has to offer.............. so we say to you - bring it on, we are ready........

Do call in and see us in our Gallery - (shops 255 - 256 Marina Quays Shopping Village/Markets, 2 Sickle Avenue, Hope Island, 4212, Queensland, Austrtalia.
