A QUICK PEEP AT ANOTHER OF MY ILLUSTRATIONS

This is another of my illustrations from my Woodland Warriors series of fantasy tales for young adults.

In this picture we have Peabody, the Faerie,  and Stinky the mouse meeting young Ignatius, the Fire Dragon, for the first time.

The backdrop is one of Rainer's paintings - "Yellow Sky Woods" and is still available for sale.

ANOTHER COAT TO WONDER AT......

Have just this very minute finished this coat.  Have called it "Baroque Solsitice" - it is supposed to conjure up images of the Medici or nights in Venice.........????

I have hand-knitted and hand-sewn this entirely using 3-strands of fibre throughout, and have finished it with a touch of jewellery to enhance (not too much, just enough to add a little interest.)

Will dash away now - have also baked a cake, so now I have to go and 'smack' Rainer...... he is trying to sample it...............

  Perfecto

Catch you later.....

ANOTHER MONTH BEGINS..........

Hard to believe that this year is already half over!!!!

Still furiously knitting away here in my little land of wonder.  I have been making a few sleeveless jackets as well, so have a look and see what you think.

This one is called "Marco Polo" and is available at Flynn Gallery.

On another subject (me!) -   I haven't done much writing for a while, but will get back into it again soon.  I actually miss my characters.  I really feel as if they are alive when I am writing about them.

Book 1 (Tales from the Forest Floore)  and Book 2 (Tales Upon an Ocean Shore) are totally finished, including the illustrations, and Book 3 is the one I am now working on.  This one is to be called "The Thirteen Pinaccles", and is about my Woodland Warriors being caught in a 'forever-winter' created by some nasty witches.  They will have to free a Wizard and try to overcome many trials and tribulations on their journey.

Not sure how that will be achieved yet, but I know that my characters will let me know as I progress..........

Better go now,

catch you later,

Carol xxx
